Change of Address!

Just a quick note to let you know that Song of My Heart will be moving to a new address:

The transition process can take up to 3 days. During that time you should be able to access my blog at the old address.

Blogger is supposed to automatically redirect you to my new address when the transition is complete. Crossing my fingers that it works!

For my faithful subscribers, I'm in the process of finding out if you'll have to re-subscribe to my new address. I'll let you know once the move is finalized.

I have absolutely no techy knowledge when it comes to domains and servers and IP addresses and such. I'm completely relying on Blogger to do their thing. So...if any little glitches happen, please know that I'll be doing my best to get it all straightened out. Thanks for bearing with me.

First Day of School Ideas

It’s that time of year again! Many homeschoolers are finishing up their summer breaks, the smell of new school supplies is in the air, and co-ops and support groups are gearing up again. For many folks it’s Back-to-School time.

There is something exciting about the fresh start of a new school year! Even though we school year round, we take a short break at the end of summer and officially kick off our new school year in the fall. I think it’s important to start the year off with a special “first day”, and it can be a great way to get your children excited about school.

Regardless of your homeschool style, having some fun first-day-of-school traditions can breathe new life into your schooling and set the tone for the new year.

Checking In

Just wanted to pop in and quickly say hello and that I'm not retiring from blogging! :) I think this is the longest blogging break I've ever taken.

We've had a lot going on this summer, and I have a ton of posts I want to share with you. Not sure when I'll get to them all, but it will happen - slowly but surely.
