Just a quick post to lay out our plan for the week. We're reading the story
Benjamin's Box by Melody Carlson as we go through our set of Resurrection
Eggs. We did this last year, and it was a big hit. We began this last night
because Superman was begging to do them. The kids love opening up each egg
and holding the objects inside.
Last year I did a HUGE Easter unit, and I think it was almost too much. The Resurrection Eggs were the thing that the kids kept coming back to and talking about. I think it helped in their understanding of the Easter story more than anything else we did. So this year for Easter my motto is "less is more." The Resurrection Eggs and Benjamin's Box will be plenty I think.
